お話も絵も素晴らしい非常にオススメの一冊。人の温かさ、昔の人の暮らしを垣間見れる作品となっている。絵は白黒→カラー→白黒という順になっており斬新。顔の表情がよく描かれており、感情がとてもよく伝わってくる（特に海の水を初めて舐めた人の表情）。７分程だが全く飽きず、最後まで引きつけられた。子どもにも好評であった。

山の奥の奥の村の昔昔の話。母に頼まれ誕生日のご馳走のたけのこを取りに行った、たろ。たろがたけのこに上着をかけるとたけのこはぐんぐん伸び、慌てて飛びついたたろも一緒に上へ上へ。なかなか帰って来ないたろを心配した母は、ぐーんと伸びたたけのこを見つけ、村人を呼び皆で切り倒した。皆たけのこに沿って走り着いた先は海だった。皆、初めて見る海だった。迷子になると行って行かなかった海だった。

A highly recommended book with wonderful stories and pictures. It is a work that gives a glimpse of the warmth of people and the lives of people in the past. The picture is novel in the order of black and white → color → black and white. The facial expressions are well drawn and the emotions are very well conveyed (especially the facial expressions of the person who licked the sea water for the first time). It was about 7 minutes, but I never got tired of it, and I was drawn to the end. It was also popular with children.

An old story of a village in the back of the mountain. Her mother asked me to pick up bamboo shoots for her birthday treat, Taro. When you put your jacket on the bamboo shoots, the bamboo shoots grow steadily, and the bamboo shoots that jumped in a hurry also move up.
