娘が小学校３年の時、読み聞かせボランティアの方から読んで頂きファンになり、再度家族で読んで家族全員でファンになった絵本。おとなりさんが猫を飼い始め、新しく自分たちの住む家を探すの５匹にねずみたち。しかし、いいところが見つからず自分たちで家を作ることに。そして結末は。。。読み終えて、絵本界の新星が現れたと思った。お話も面白いのだけれど、絵が、構図が、色が細部にもこだわった素晴らしい作品。ねずみたちのアイディアいっぱいの家に心躍らされる。

When my daughter was in the third grade of elementary school, a story-telling volunteer read it and became a fan, and then read it again with her family and became a fan of the whole family. The five mice are looking for a new home for their neighbors to start keeping cats. However, we couldn't find a good place and decided to build our own house. And the ending. .. .. After reading, I thought that a new star in the picture book world had appeared. The story is interesting, but it's a wonderful work with attention to detail in the picture, composition, and color. I am thrilled to see a house full of ideas from the mice.
