軽井沢の絵本美術館に展示されていて、気になって読んだ絵本。飛行機の部品、構造が細部までよく描かれていて隅々まで見入ってしまう。最後に自作の飛行機で世界をまわるのだが、その世界の景色も圧巻だ。文は１ページに１～２行なのでこどもが自分ではじめて読む絵本にもよいと思う。ぶたのたね、ねむねむいねずみシリーズとは全く異なる作品。男の子に是非見せてあげたい絵本。1975年に「こどものとも第231号」（福音館書店）として最初に発行され、こちらは表紙も新たに復刊。

A picture book that was on display at the Karuizawa Picturebook Museum and I was curious about it. The parts and structure of the airplane are well drawn in detail, and you can see every corner. Finally, I travel around the world with my own airplane, and the scenery of that world is also overwhelming. The sentences are one or two lines per page, so I think it's good for children to read for the first time in a picture book. A work that is completely different from the lid and sleepy mouse series. A picture book that I definitely want to show to boys. It was first published in 1975 as "Children's Tomo No. 231" (Fukuinkan Shoten), and the cover page has also been reissued.
