I thought I should read it before entering elementary school. She faithfully depicts the process from sowing to the morning glory seeding. A wonderful picture book that makes you feel like you are looking at an art work. You can also see the difference between the leaves of Futaba and Honba and how the vine grows. The fine hairs on the stems and vines, and each seed are carefully drawn.
Postscript: The morning glory set was distributed immediately after entering elementary school. Asagao was cultivated at home because it was a decentralized school attendance due to the influence of corona. From time to time, the morning glory's observation diary appeared as homework. My son's painting had no characteristics of Futaba. This picture book was also very useful for my son, who is not good at drawing, to draw pictures of Futaba and Honba.
